JOIN STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Seeking to expand your leadership skills? Interested in representing your fellow Spartans?
UNCG’s Student Government Association consists of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branch. Students can apply for Executive Cabinet positions, serve on the Legislative Board, or run to be a student senator. Positions are filled by current students and we hold Spring and Fall elections each year.
Do you like photography? Content creation? Open positions for PR Team are posted on our Instagram.
Questions or concerns? Come to a senate meeting (every Tuesday at 7pm)
ELECTIONS
Mission: Provide a fair and open process in which the student body elects representatives to serve on the UNCG’s Student Government Association.
Students interested in running should attend an upcoming interest meeting to learn about student government and open positions. General elections are held during the Fall and Spring via an online voting process. A special election is held at the beginning of Fall semester to fill vacancies from Spring.
All students are emailed at the beginning of the fall semester and mid-spring semester with information about the SGA elections process. Students interested in joining SGA are encouraged to come to senate meetings and follow us on Instagram @uncg.sga for more information.

Student Government election applications are administered via Spartan Connect.
The candidacy application will be located under Forms. Complete the form and you will be contacted with further information.
