The SGA President works closely with the SGA Vice President and acts as the chief representative of all UNCG students to the university administration, faculty, staff, and community, as well as the leader of the SGA Executive Cabinet.

In addition to their role as student body president, the SGA president serves as a member of the UNCG Board of Trustees and the Council of Presidents of the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments.

FOX BROWN

ABOUT

Service: Fox Brown is the 112th President of the UNCG Student Government Association and an ex officio voting member of the UNCG Board of Trustees through June 30, 2026. He serves as a member of the Academic Affairs and Athletics Committees.

Education: Brown holds an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Guilford Technical Community College, where he received North Carolina Scholar of Global Distinction Honors, was named to the President’s List, and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He also served as Vice President of GTCC’s Political Science Club. Brown also holds an Associate in Applied Science, Computer Engineering Technology, from Forsyth Technical Community College, where he also received high honors. At UNCG, Brown is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and a minor in History. He is pursuing disciplinary honors in both majors.

Bio: A senior from High Point, North Carolina, Fox Brown has had several years of experience with the UNCG Student Government Association (SGA) prior to his election as President. He was the Transfer Student Senator from fall 2023 until spring 2025, during which time he served on the SGA finance and election committees, and he received the SGA’s Excellence in Advocacy award during the 102nd session. He has completed both Bronze and Silver levels of the Office of Leadership & Civic Engagement’s Spartan Leadership Challenge and plans to pursue the Gold Medallion level. Outside academics, Brown currently serves as Academic Chairman of the Mu Triton Charge of Theta Delta Chi International Fraternity, which recognized him as the 2024-2025 Scholar of the Year. He is also an active member of the UNCG Fencing Club and has competed in several tournaments. Active in the community, Brown volunteers with the Haley Graves Foundation in Summerfield, assisting with animal rescue and adoption events. His post-graduation plans include pursuing a law degree and an MBA.
